Do something good for someone else
Have you heard about Pepsi's Refresh Project?
Leave it to the 80's soft drink leaders to get us off our digital asses to do something to change the world!
During 2010 Pepsi is giving away over 1 million dollars...yes $1,000,000 to people who are trying to make a difference in their communities. What's even better is they don't want your money. (amazing!) They just want you to stop by and vote for your favorite projects.

Looking for a site to further turn your mind into mush? Try Neave Television!
It's stuffed full of random "apps" that will make you stay and play.
For me personally, OCD and Neave TV (the actual television app of it) don't go well together. As soon as I get interested in the programming it changes!
However, if you enjoy television channel flipping fun, you definitely need to check it out.
I will say there are several other really good features out there worth checking out that I had a blast with.
There is a webcam "app" that had me making monkey faces for an hour. Yes. a whole hour!
Ever feel yourself getting lost in the light shows associated with iTunes or windows media player? What if you could control the show? with Neave, you can. I told you it's a dream for those of us who enjoy randomness.
With approximately 13 toys to play with, it's hard for me to believe that anyone other than Willy Wonka's oompa loompa's could have that kind of imagination.
On another note, I licked my monitor today and it DID NOT taste like a snozberry.

A must have for your bookmarks
In the wake of our recent economic climate, I'm always trying to save money as often as possible. One of the best sites I have ever found for coupons, coupon codes, and saving money in general is Retail me Not.
RetailmeNot.com is an amazingly easy to use website with coupon codes for over 50,000 stores both online and off.
With all of my website and design jobs, I'm always looking for deals on tools including hosts and domain registration/renewal. RetailMeNot almost ALWAYS has GoDaddy.com codes.
Honestly, I won't buy anything on the web without stopping by to see my friends at RetailMeNot.com. 98% of the time they have a code that saves me at least 10% on anything and everything that I need.

Don't support companies or organizations that don't support you. Sooner or later if enough people stop funding these companies they will listen and implement domestic partnership benefits or stop firing people for who they spend their nights with.
It's a no brainer people!
Swag Bucks!
You may have noticed the little "widget" on the right hand side of the page saying "Jess L. has xx SwagBucks". If you have no idea what swagbucks are you should definitely check it out! With swag bucks you get rewarded for surfing the web and it's almost like an online scavenger hunt.
