Trying to get someone off your back?

Do you want to spend your free time playing video games, but your wife, or parent, or boss won't let you? I've always found that the best way to get someone on my side is to "Sell them" on whatever it is that I'm into.

For instance, I recently came across the "Scene it-Box Office Smash Bundle" pack.

I got this on sale. I'd been eying it for quite awhile but with a family of 4 and no job it's hard to manage a $40 or $50 price tag.

My family and I are trivia buffs, we are game geeks, and we're always looking for cheap ways to have fun together.

I felt like a 5 year old with a new toy. It's gadgety, has buttons, bright colors. I couldn't wait to open the box, but because it was also for the kids I HAD to wait.

As soon as my youngest came home from school, I told him about what I had bought. At first he was very nonchelant and said "cool." (No enthusiasm)

I asked if he wanted to give it a go on a short game with me. "Sure." (again no enthusiasm).

By the time we finished the first round, my son was literally on the edge of his seat and really into it. There are so many different categories, and the game itself runs like a gameshow rather than a board game. The questions are designed for everyone from kids to the seriously obsessed movie buffs. I was amazed when my 14 year old beat me during the first round as I do consider myself somewhat of a movie buff.

Later that night when the rest of the family was home, I decided to try it out again, this time playing the long game. My oldest son who can be somewhat of a sore loser, also surprised me when he wanted to play again after being defeated by his brother. I think we would have played all night long if the two of them didn't have school the next day.

I totally recommend this to trivia buffs, film fanatics, singles, families, kids 12+, etc. Great bang for the buck!

Also this bundle pack comes with 4 wireless "buzzer's" (and batteries), plus the game, which means it's more or less expandable because you'll already have the buzzers in hand.
